We would like to invite you to join us in what will be a week of yoga, exploring, and taking time for you.

There is no doubt in saying the last couple of years has been challenging for everyone. What is even more challenging is trying to rediscover what it feels like to finally let go of the stress that has accumulated in our bodies and mind when our reactions to day-to-day life is holding that stress in place.

We learn to live with it, it feels normal to us, but stress is the root of our suffering and can lead to disease and mental stress.

This week is meant to gently pull that stress from us though the practice of Yoga, Meditation, Pranayama, Yoga Nidra and being in a place where the ever day distractions are not available to us.

Our Location: Playa Lagarto

Playa Lagarto is a small fishing village located between Tamarindo and Samara on the Pacific Coast of the

Nicoya Peninsula. It is approximately 1.5 hours drive from the Liberia airport. Playa Lagarto Eco-

Development is 1100 acres of Jungle containing privately owned properties. It is a newer development

with a newly built Yoga Pavillion, one and two-bedroom villas, 3 swimming pools and an on-site

restaurant. There are also approximately 20 km of groomed trails for hiking, nature, and birdwatching.

Cost and Inclusions

Single Occupancy: $1500 USD

Double Occupancy: $1350 USD

$200 deposit needed to hold space (non refundable)

Payment plan available

Each Villa has One or Two Bedrooms with a kitchenette and lounging area

There are 3 pools available

Covered Yoga Space

Shuttle to and from the airport

Breakfast and Dinner each day

Yoga every morning and evening

I hour Massage

Included Excursion: Rincon De La Vieja Volcanic Thermal Spring

Optional Excursions: Surfing Lessons, Visiting a Coffee Plantation, Horseback riding, Turtle Sanctuary. An afternoon at the beach.

All of these can be arranged with Kris.

Your Teacher

Shannon has been practicing yoga since 1995 and teaching for over a decade. She has run many retreats, workshops, and teaches regularly at her little studio in Sundre, Alberta, Canada.

Each day you will experience her wealth of knowledge to help you truly unwind.

Your Costa Rica Host

My name is Kris Carruthers. I have lived in Sundre, AB for the last 20ish years. I have practiced yoga for

about 12 years. I have a passion for yoga and a passion for Costa Rica. Combining the two just

made sense. We have built a home here and I have been travelling back and forth to Costa Rica for

the last 10 years and am looking forward to sharing the incredible energy of the country with you.
