Sundre Yoga and Meditation is a place where yoga teachers, meditations teachers, energy workers, etc, can rent space and still keep their own identities. Each class is run by and paid to the individual teachers. If you are interested in running a class or workshop please send me a message.
My goal is to provide all who are interested in the beautiful art of Yoga to have the opportunity to practice in a safe and caring environment. I focus on proper alignment, breathing techniques, and a place to practice where regardless of your level you feel confident and taken care of.
Yoga is much more than a form of exercise. With regular practice it will ease back pain, increase joint function, flexibility, strength, aid in digestion and elimination and reduce stress helping the body function within an ever present world full of stress. Contrary to popular belief, you do not have to be flexible to partake in a yoga class, all you need is an open mind and the willingness to learn.
Classes incorporate Pranayama(breathing), Asana(poses), and Meditation. In each class you can expect a combination of Demo and Guided practice, as well as modifications and props to support while moving your body in ways it possibly hasn't moved in a long time.
Classes are open to all levels and are held at the Sundre Plaza Mall, 200 Main Ave W.
